i think blogger is an effective mean of communication because its an easy way of uploading and whatever you want. for example;
-upload files
-accessible-
-shareable-you can use it to share with your friends 
-easy to set up-theres no trouble setting it up as its already done for you 
-changing themes/backgrounds
-personal web address- you can have your personal site for what ever you want.
-mobile downloadable app-you can access it anywhere you like aslong as you have your mobile on you!
-its already designed-you dont have to go through trouble to design it your self
-no paper used-it doesend use paper,you can just chat on this!
-will stay on the web for atleast 100 years.will always be on your computer whenever you want to use it
-its completely free- costs nothing to use.
